RUN with KENYANS celebrates Kenyan runners and their remarkable history of achievement in distance running. Today, RUN with KENYANS announced at the Boston Marathon Sports and Fitness Expo that runners of all skill levels can come to Kenya and experience the joy and adventure of running with world-class athletes in a region considered the Mecca of endurance running.

"For many years, professional athletes and researchers from all over the world have travelled to Kenya to live and train with Kenyan champions in the mountains of Iten and Eldoret," says Wilson Kiriungi, founder and CEO of RUN with KENYANS. "People are fascinated that a small region in a single country produces such a disproportionately high number of Olympic and World Champions. Did you know that a Kenyan has won the Boston Marathon every year for the past two decades?" (In either the Men's or Women's Open.)

The running program, known as RUN with KENYANS Running Safaris, will allow recreational runners to visit Kenyan and experience the magic for themselves. Participants in the first Running Safari in June 2011 will visit Nairobi, Eldoret, Iten, Nandi Hills and other legendary running centers. Participants will also run with some of Kenya's fastest, fiercist and most beautiful animals in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy for the Lewa Marathon on June 25, 2011.
