Dear High School Parents/Guardians:
Last Thursday, I made the difficult decision to place Mr. Cournoyer on administrative leave. This decision was made with the best interest of the Hopkinton High School Community in mind. I understand the frustration many of you have expressed to me in wanting to be provided with more detailed information. However, privacy laws constrain me from commenting further on the particulars of his leave. I can assure you that I have taken immediate steps to insure the continuation of a strong leadership team, headed by Acting Principal, Mr. Evan Bishop. As many of you know, Mr. Bishop was Interim Principal last year and is a highly respected building leader who is also familiar to the students. I would like to thank the school community for your patience during this unexpected situation. As always, my highest priority is in providing the best possible educational experience for all students.
