On Saturday, May 14, letter carriers across the country, in partnership with the U.S. Postal Service, will be collecting food for families in need. Here's how you can help: Bag non-perishable food items and leave them at your mailbox on Saturday morning for pickup and delivery to the local food bank. Here in Hopkinton, all of the food collected will go the the Hopkinton Food Pantry at Project Just Because. Project Just Because will be open all day from 11am to 5pm on Saturday to accept donations.

"Everything from this food drive goes directly to families, kids and seniors in Hopkinton only," says Cherylann Lambert Walsh, the founder of Project Just Because.

Walsh encourages everyone to participate since the shelves of the Hopkinton Food Pantry often go bare during the summer months.

So, fill a bag and feed a family this Saturday and do your part to help Stamp Out Hunger.
