Hopkinton Town Clerk, Connor Degan attended the New England Municipal Clerks' Institute and Academy (NEMCI&A) for a week-long training session. Degan posted the following Facebook status along with a picture of everyone in attendance;
"I am back in the office after an amazing and exhausting week at the New England Municipal Clerks' Institute and Academy (NEMCI&A). This professional training gave me valuable lessons, built me life long friendships in my field, and was the first step towards receiving my designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk. I cannot wait to attend again next year and continue my education to better my service to my community. Thank you to the International Institute of Municipal Clerks for hosting the program and to the residents of Hopkinton for allowing me to attend."
