The Town of Hopkinton Seeks a Part-Time Senior Center Volunteer Coordinator

Do you enjoy working with the seniors? Would you like to work in a very friendly and welcoming environment? The Town of Hopkinton is seeking a part-time (approximately 19 hours) Volunteer Coordinator for the Senior Center.

Under the general supervision of the Senior Center Director, the Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of volunteers for the Town's Senior Center programming including senior transportation and special projects.

Qualifications - Applicants must meet the following to be considered qualified for this position:
• Equivalent of high school education;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel);
• Must possess a valid driver’s license;
• Ability to obtain ServSafe, First Aid and CPR certifications;
• One (1) year of work experience with volunteer work preferred;
• Associates degree and supervisory experience preferred.

Hiring Salary Range: $13.50 – $20.50 depending on qualifications
