The Hopkinton Senior Center is seeking a part-time (12 - 19 hours) van driver. Under the general supervision of the department manager or assistant, the position performs van transportation services for senior citizens, assists with loading packages onto and off of vehicle, record keeping, general cleaning and reporting of vehicles' maintenance requirements and attendance of mandated classes. Position performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications - Applicants must meet the following to be considered qualified for this position:
-Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
-Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in accordance with Massachusetts regulations
-HS Diploma or equivalent
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff and provide exceptional customer service to the public
-CPR certification within six months of hire
-Up to one year of applicable experience is preferred
Hiring Pay Range: $11.30 – $15.00 hourly depending on qualifications.
