The United Way of Tri-County is requesting nominations for its 2015 MetroWest/495 Corridor Volunteer of the Year Awards, meant to recognize the community’s most dedicated volunteers.

Nominees for Youth Volunteer of the Year, for area youth attending a local middle or high school between the ages of 12 and 18, and Volunteer of the Year, for a MetroWest volunteer over the age of 18 will be accepted through Friday, February 6. Nominees should exemplify the spirit and commitment of improving the quality of life for others in the MetroWest/495 Corridor.

Volunteers selected from local committee will be honored at the upcoming United Way Annual Recognition Breakfast on Thursday, April 9 at the Sheraton in Framingham. Awards acknowledge the importance of volunteerism and community service in MetroWest/495 communities.

Volunteer nominations from any MetroWest nonprofit organizations are welcome and can be submitted online at the United Way of Tri-County’s website here.
