A Midsummer Dream -- Another Vets Breakfast

Friday, 9 July 2021, at 0900 hours will be the Hopkinton Vets Breakfast at the Senior Center. Old Guard New England will be the guest chef. The entire cooking/serving crew has first-hand experience with military chow and inside/outside "mess" operations.
The menu comprises eggs, hash browns, bacon, and beef hash (SOS returns during the August breakfast), with tasty donuts, crumb cake, and coffee.
Agenda items will include naming Lost Comrades, Vets on Sick Call, historical remembrances of military events of 9 July, announcements of ongoing local veterans activities, and closing quips by Jacques LeDuc.
Members of the American Legion Post will lead the gathering in the Pledge of Allegiance and grace before the meal.
