Blackstone Valley Wealth Management LLC. announced the recipient of their annual Hopkinton High School Scholarship. The scholarship is rewarded to a Hopkinton High School graduating senior who is pursuing a higher education and is a child in a single-parent home. This years recipient was Andrew Simi. Simi will be attending Umass-Amherst next year studying Operation and Information Management.
"Greg and I wanted to be able to give back to the community, we wanted to be able to give back to someone who is in a similar spot that we were" stated Founding Partner, Jim Valis. Valis mentioned that he was raised in a single parent home by his Dad, while the other founding partner, Greg Manis was raised by his Mom. "We wanted to give back to someone in a similar space and situation that we went through when we were younger."
