Video: Hillers Sports Update 10-6-2016

- Medfield Boys Cross Country edged Hopkinton 26-30 Wednesday. The Warriors improved to 3-2 and Hopkinton fell to 3-2 on the season.

- Hopkinton Girls Cross Country stayed perfect with a 20-42 win over Medfield Wednesday, The Warriors Girls are now 3-2 on the season.

- Holliston field hockey won their 7th straight as they took down Hopkinton 1-0 Wednesday. The Hillers are 6-2-2 on the season, Holliston is 7-1-2.

- Hillers Girls Volleyball won their 8th straight as they swept Millis. The sweep was Hopkinton's 8th sweep of the season.. The Hillers stand at 10-1 on the season.

- Hillers Golf won their 5th straight as they out shot Medway 246-277. The Hillers are 12-2 on the season, Medway is 8-9.

-The girls’ soccer team beat Dedham yesterday 2-0. Kristen McCluskey and Emerie Peterson shut out Dedham in goal while Catherine Dacey controlled the midfield. The girls play again today away in Ashland. The teams record is now 3 wins and 1 loss.

-The HMS boys' soccer team won yesterday 5-2 versus Dedham. Ethan Champlain scored two goals. Jesse Chambers, Russell DeMarco and Rex Lind scored a goal apiece. Danny Andrews, Ross Comcowich, Christian Covino, and John Mastrangelo played well. The boys travel to Ashland today.

-The 8th grade field hockey team dominated at Ashland yesterday with a 4-0 win. Goals from Meghan Muldoon (2, with one assist from Sarah Doyle), Sarah Doyle (assist from Alyssa Souza) and another from Leila Frederick. Strong offensive pressure the entire game combined with a solid defense kept Ashland from taking a single shot on net, tended by Alexa Kaplan and Amanda Kelley. The team's record is now 5-0-1 - keep it up girls!
