Hopkinton Middle School invited the community, students and staff to the HMS courtyard to officially introduce their new mission statement; "Growing an active community of strong minds and kind hearts".
Assistant Principal, Maryellen Grady mentioned it was quite a process to determine the best mission statement; "it started with the entire faculty meeting and having a discussion then I invited faculty members to come together and work on a mission committee." She mentioned 17 faculty members participated in coming up with the mission statement which received 100% approval. View more in the news segment below.
