On March 29, a group of students who will be participating in the Relay for Life from Hopkinton High School went to Boston to attend the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network’s annual state lobby day. "This year, more than 2,800 Massachusetts kids will become new daily smokers. These youth advocates are working to change that." They met with lawmakers to urge support of a comprehensive tobacco control bill, which would, among other things, increase the legal age of sale of tobacco to 21.

In the video below students, Erin Webb, Kathryn Walsh, Gabby Thompson and Olivia Spar gave an update about the trip to Boston and upcoming events to support the Relay for Life.
