The Hopkinton Youth Commission hosted the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday. The slogan of the event is "lets make it a day on, not off" and focuses on giving back to the community, helping those in need and celebrating diversity. Events during the day included African-American storyteller, Valerie Tutson, a Mindfulness workshop with a former Buddahist Monk, Seth Monk, Guest Speaker, Tazwar Ferdous (founder of the Hopkinton High School Diversity Club) as well as numerous activities to help charitable organization and those in need.
