Verizon Wireless held their official Grand Opening in the newly built plaza at West Main Street. The plaza currently houses Starbucks, Unibank, Ideal Nails & Spa and now Verizon Wireless. The wireless mobile store is one of many businesses to open in Hopkinton during the recent months. West Main Street should continue to see increased traffic with the recent expansion and renovation of the Lumber Street Plaza and the newly built West Main Street plaza.
Some of the other businesses that have opened off of West Main Street in the Lumber Street plaza include; "The Spoon" (former Golden Spoon), "110 Grill" and "Hillers Pizza" (at Former Dino's Pizza). Construction of office buildings and housing continue at the expanded Lumber Street plaza and more businesses should continue to open in the area throughout upcoming months.
Manager of the Hopkinton Verizon Wireless store Wiguen Thimotee mentioned they received a nice reception from the town and they are getting along with their West Main street neighbors nicely; "we have a very good relationship with the businesses not only next store, but in the neighborhood."
