On the October 14th edition of HCAM News, we talked with Hillers Girls Varsity Soccer Coach, Tom Skiba, we have the latest Hiller Sports report and Bobby Gibb was recognized and statue unveiled prior to the Boston marathon but first, the annual Art on the trail at Center trail opened up.

The Hopkinton CC Charitable Foundation (HCCCF) announced that before the end of
2021 they will have granted over $1,000,000 since their inception in 2010. “The HCCCF is extremely proud
to reach this tremendous milestone and to have been able to help those in our communities that may not have

Obituary: Maria Torres-Purvis

Maria Torres-Purvis of Hopkinton passed away suddenly on September 28, 2021. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 19, 1992 to Maria (Quiles) Cruz & Edwin Torres. She graduated from Marlborough High School, alongside her husband and daughter in May 2010. She briefly pursued a career as a nurse’s assistant but later found her love in management at the Muffin House in Hopkinton MA. Many would start their morning with a cup of coffee, a muffin, and her smile as she greeted them every day.

On Tuesday, October 12th, Hopkinton Hillers Girls and Boys Soccer picked up wins versus Medway. Undefeated 13 and 0 Hillers Girls Volleyball is at Medfield tomorrow (Wed, 10-13), 9-2-1 Hillers Golf hosts Westwood on Wednesday 10/13, Hiller Field Hockey is at Medway. View Tuesday's results below!

-Hopkinton defeats Medway 2 to 1
Freshman, Maddie Recupero nets 2 goals in the victory, SR Ava Perlov had an assist. Hillers improve to 9-4-0 and Medway falls to 4-6-1.
