The Hopkinton Board of Selectmen and School Committee met this past week to talk about the 2019 fiscal year budget. The goal of the meeting was to discuss ways to decrease the 7.4% increase of the School Committee budget in order to avoid going over the projected town tax rate increase of 5%. The School committee had concerns that further cuts could lead to insufficient funds to maintain all of the current school programs.

Because on Monday, March 26th at 7:30 PM, Hopkinton's one and only Enter Stage Left Theater is holding Trivia Night!, a fundraiser to benefit Hopkinton's adult chorus, the Treblemakers.
Songwriters, artists and poets were among those who gathered at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts to share their pieces of work at the Creative Circles Arts for all event. The event was hosted by Geri Holland and Cynthia Franca. View footage of the event below.
