School Committee Chooses New Elementary School Building Name

The School Committee has chosen a name for the new Elementary School Building currently in progress at 129 Hayden Rowe St. They sent out the following announcement to be shared with the public: "At their meeting on March 16, 2017, the School Committee voted to name the new elementary school building Marathon Elementary School. The Committee would like to thank everyone who participated in the naming process for this exciting project."

Eleanor B. (Lary) Anderson, 86

Eleanor B. (Lary) Anderson, 86, of Canaan, New Hampshire, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Newton Wellesley Center for Alzheimer’s Care. Born in West Canaan, NH, she was the daughter of the late Eva Vifian and Harry Foster Sr. She was the wife of the late Sidney “Sonny” Lary Jr. (who passed away in 1985) and former wife of Philip Anderson Sr.

Well, as they say in Vegas, care to make it interesting?

Because on Monday, April 3rd at 7:30 PM, Hopkinton's one and only Enter Stage Left Theater is holding Trivia Night!, a fundraiser to benefit Hopkinton's adult chorus, the Treblemakers.

8:00 PM: Cortney Keegan

The Superintendent, Dr. Cathy MacLeod, and the Hopkinton School Committee invite interested parents, staff, and community members to attend the School Committee’s interviews of these candidates.
