Baypath Humane Society is excited to be putting tickets to our Annual Fur Ball Gala on sale! Please join Baypath for “A Night in Paris” at the Boston Marriott Newton on March 26, 2022, for a night of food, entertainment, dancing, auction, and togetherness.
This year, in the interest of allowing people lots of options for how they eat, there won’t be assigned tables, which will allow for more time to circulate and more options for distancing when you eat. As in previous years, Baypath will have a huge number of auction items, in a wide price range. Dress code is black tie optional. Tickets for the event are $100 and include food and a night of fun.
To keep our event as safe as possible, Baypath is requiring that all in-person attendees to the Fur Ball be fully vaccinated by the time of the event. They will be checking vaccine cards at the door and if you are not able to present proof of vaccine (vaccine card or photo of your card) then you will not be permitted to enter. The organization is also encouraging you to take a Covid test before attending the event. The Fur Ball is one of Baypath’s largest events each year and is responsible for helping the organization meet their mission of caring for over 900 cats and dogs each year.
Gala proceeds will support Baypath Humane Society’s mission to providing shelter, care, humane treatment, and loving homes for stray or unwanted companion animals. Baypath supporters, volunteers, and attendees come together once a year for a night of fun to raise critical funds to support the general operations of our shelter. Those funds are necessary to help deliver top-notch adoption services, medical and behavioral care, and community education.
This special event is one of the shelter’s most important fundraisers, bringing together hundreds of animal lovers. “The Fur Ball, now in its 10th year and our largest fundraiser, provides a unique opportunity for the animal lovers in our community to mingle with one another in a relaxing evening full of fabulous fun," says Elizabeth Jefferis, Baypath Executive Director. "We are excited to finally host this event in person again and can’t wait to celebrate safely.”
