February in Photos

By Stephanie Kane, News Producer

If you looked outside your window on February 9th, it wasn't hard to find Nemo as the blizzard dumped close to two feet of snow in Hopkinton. However, all that snow didn't stop February from being a busy month in town.

The month kicked off with father and son marathoners Rick and Dick Hoyt sharing their "yes you can" message at the Middle School. The team then stopped by the library to look at a scale model of the statue of them currently being erected outside Center School. And on the following day, the library was filled with young children and their parents for the first Take Your Child to the Library Day.

In High School sports news, the cheerleaders left for the Cheersport National Championship in Atlanta Georgia on the 14th, placing fifth in their division. And Girls' Basketball team tri-captains, Sarah Moses, Tess Chandler, and Dana Gogolin capped off their last home game of their high school careers on the 15th with a win over Westwood.
Congressman Joe Kennedy spoke at a Chamber of Commerce sponsored eventat Water Fresh Farm on the 19th.
