On Wednesday night, young witches and wizards gathered in the Hopkinton Library to take the N.E.W.T exams. They were quizzed on various forms of trivia from the Harry Potter books, including quotes, people, and places.
The questions started out easy, but grew more difficult as time progressed, and more and more of the contestants were having difficulty with remembering the answers. Even the audience was confused and couldn't answer some of the harder questions, but four contest winners did emerge before the end of the night;
Liam Horsman, Ashley Olafsen, Maddy Boyce and Kyran Schnur.
Some of the winners spoke with HCAM News intern Nimish. Third place winner Annie Boyce had some trouble with the toughest questions. Second place winner Ashley Olefson is very familiar with the Harry Potter series, and is definitely planning on seeing the movie.
The four contest winners received free passes to see the movie in IMAX 3D at Jordan's Furniture.
Denise Kofran, Youth Services Librarian and the organizer of the event, loves the Harry Potter series, and how they have helped make people interested in reading again.
