On Monday July Fourth, members of the town of Hopkinton gathered on the Hopkinton Common to celebrate the annual Horribles Parade. A lot of work went into the celebration, as equestrians from the 4-H horse group prepared their horses and the fire and police departments decked out their cruisers and fire trucks in Independence Gear. When the parade began, enthusiastic citizens began spraying squirt guns and throwing water balloons at the passing vehicles. However, the riders of the trucks did not take the barrage lightly, and responded with water based armaments of their own. Members of the Equestrians threw out candy for the spectators, helping round off a good time for everyone who came to watch the parade.
