Under bright sunny skies, over 100 seniors from Hopkinton, Holliston, Southborough, and Westborough gathered at the Laborer's Training Center for some Italian food and raffle prizes during State Representative Carolyn Dykema's annual Senior Picnic on August 21st. The event, which was started by former State Representative Barbara Gardner, gives Dykema a chance to meet and talk with seniors in her district. Also in attendance, State Senator Karen Spilka.
Several volunteers from each community were on hand to serve food to the seniors, which was donated by Bazel's in Holliston, including Hopkinton Board of Selectmen member Brian Herr.
