Teens for Teens Holds Charity Concert

By Michelle Murdock, Freelance Writer

Originally part of a Destination Imagination community outreach project, four local Hopkinton teens, Carolyn and Allison Monaghan, Gabe Adams, and Max Joyce are now a new group called Teens for Teens. Their focus is helping other teens and they recently held a fundraiser at the Woodville Rod & Gun Club to raise money and donations for Project Just Because.

Led by Gabe Adams, the group organized a charity concert and recruited six local bands or performers to play at the event, including Hopkinton High School Senior Evan Katz and Hopkinton’s own Sasha Yatchenko.

The price of admission was $5 or a clothing donation for Project Just Because.

All proceeds from the event will go to the teen section at the local charity where Adams says more donations are needed.

Teens for Teens will continue to support local teens and Project Just Because. Watch for more donation drives this spring at the high school.
