Video Segment: Hopkinton Hockey beat Medway 3-2

On Saturday Janruary 3rd, Hopkinton Hillers Hockey battled TVL rival Medway Mustangs. The first goal of the game was scored in the 2nd period by Medways Cole Fisher just over one minute in off a beauty of a pass from Kevin Kaufman. The Hillers would respond a few minutes later, Cam Finlayson took it around the net and left it for Freshman Will Abbott who went off the goalie to make it 1-1 with Nine minutes left in the 2nd.

Later, with seconds left in the 2nd period Medway's Cam Fisher broke down the ice and shot 5 hole but was denied from a great save by Hillers goalkeeper Tim McCgrath. The game was tied at 1 entering the 3rd period. Will Abbott set up a Jordan Caroll goal to make it 2-1 Hopkinton with 5:59 left to go. Then just over 90 seconds later, Everett Rolph broke away and scored to make it 3-1 Hillers. The Hillers got the 3-2 win and improved to 4-2-2, while Medway fell to 4-3. Depite the Mustangs outshooting Hopkinton 36-10, the Hillers pull off the big TVL victory.
