Hopkinton went to WPI (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) on Monday March 2nd to take on 1st seeded 18 and 3 Marlborough in the Semi-Finals after winning in the first round at Wayland High School 53-48. Hopkinton lost a close well fought out game 55-40. The Hillers trailed most of the way but with 6:22 left in the 4th got within 2 and trailed 37-35. The Hillers were then outscored 18-5 in the final minutes. Matt Locke led the way for the Hillers with 11 points, Brian Short put up 18 points for Marlborough.
