In the Lotvin Family Gallery at the HCA, join Jamaal Eversley and his student-curated show based on the The Bold & Beautiful Exhibition for adults. The artwork will focus on the students distinctive, recognizable personality traits. What makes them proud to be who they are? What makes them feel blessed?
This exhibition is providing students a public outlet for expression and communal participation, while earning local recognition during the exhibition. The goal is to foster confidence of young artists plus give them the opportunity to be recognized for their creative achievements and for what makes them “Bold & Beautiful."
The students participating in this exhibition represent the towns of Hopkinton, Milford, Ashland and Hopedale. One teen from each town will win a Bold & Beautiful Award: a financial award stemming from a portion of Jamaal’s yearly art sales. This exhibition is made possible by grants provided by those towns’ cultural councils.
Meet the artists at a public reception on Friday, September 9th from 6-7 pm at the Lotvin Family Gallery. Light refreshments will be served.
