Memory Cafe Returns to Hopkinton Public Library November 13th

"The Hopkinton Senior Center and Hopkinton Library will be hosting another Our Time Memory Cafe’ event Tuesday, November 13th, 1-3 at the Hopkinton Library, 13 Main Street, Hopkinton, MA. The event is offered for those in Hopkinton and surrounding areas living with forgetfulness, mild cognitive impairment, or dementia and their caregiver, family, and friends.

SACH celebrates the Indian and the larger sub-continent cultures. It enriches the spirit of a multicultural global community living in Hopkinton.
SACH advocates community engagement, partners with other communities to organize activities and sponsors cultural events that showcase the South Asian tradition and culture.

Girl Scout Troop #65040 to host "What it Means to Serve Our Country" Panel Discussion

On Saturday November 10th at 2pm, Girls Scout Troop #65040 will host "What it means to serve our country." The event is a panel discussion featuring 5 veterans: Ralph Given, US Air Force & National Guard, William Muench, US Navy, Kathleen O'Leary, US Navy Nurse Corps, Ron Remillard, US Army and Alicia Shambo, US Navy. The moderator for the event will be Benjamin Palleiko, US Navy.

The event will take place at the Hopkinton Public Library.

HHS to Present ‘Godspell’ Nov. 15-18

Hopkinton High School drama students will present the musical “Godspell” November 15-18 in the HHS auditorium.

“Godspell” features parables from the Bible and music by legendary composer Stephen Schwartz. It debuted off-Broadway in 1971 and has enjoyed several popular revivals since then. HHS’s version features Matthew Dempsey as Jesus; Abbey Kelly-Lanser as the Baptist/Betrayer; and 40 other talented students.

This past weekend, the Hopkinton Public Library celebrated the 1 year anniversary since renovation and expansion. The festivities kicked off on Friday night with the "Books in Bloom" display created by the Hopkinton Garden Club. On Saturday the celebration continued with some ciders & donuts, tours of the library, a plaque dedication ceremony for the 1000 homes for Hopkinton plaque and music by Steve Spector. 3rd Annual Wicked 5K Fun Run a Huge Success

The skies cleared from the previous day’s noreaster, just in time for Hopkinton’s Enter Stage Left Theater’s 3rd Annual Wicked 5K Fun Run on Sunday, October 28th.

With 137 registered runners and more than 40 volunteers, the race raised more than $7,500, with all proceeds going to the Enter Stage Left Theater.

Congratulations to Top Male Finisher, Kevin Ryan, with a time of 18.01 and Top Female Finisher, Angele Myers, in 21.52. All finishers received finisher mini pumpkins!

The time is now for The Game's Afoot, Enter Stage Left Theater's clever whodunnit! Final performances are tonight and Saturday (October 26 and 27), at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 28 at 3:00 p.m.

It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in his play, Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is mysteriously stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous.
