Our next edition of the Hopkinton Hangout Hour takes place on Wednesday, June 24th 2020 at 2pm and we have a special 90 minute edition! In the first segment, we will talk with Select Board Candidate, Amy Ritterbusch, in the 2nd segment, Select Board Candidate John Countinho and then at 3pm we talk with Planning Board Candidate, Sundar Sivaraman along with his Wife who is a Board of Library Trustees Candidate, Meena Kaushik.
The 63rd edition of the Hopkinton Hangout Hour took place on Tuesday, June 23rd at 2pm. In the episode, we talked with Hopkins School Teacher, Marie Clark and School Committee Candidate, Lya Batlle-Rafferty.
Vaping has become a huge problem for teens nationwide and to date, over 68 deaths have been confirmed in 30 states. For their Girl Scout Silver Award, Hopkinton Girl Scouts from Troop 65294 chose to focus on the dangers of vaping in adolescents. The girls hope to educate the parents and students in their community to create awareness and encourage changes in their behavior.
One the June 18th meeting of the Hopkinton Cultural Council that was held virtually the committee unanimously elected a new slate of officers which include:

In the episode, we talked to players from last years Ashland Legion Baseball team and this years independent team (Lawrence Tang, Dom Cavanagh, Sam Farrell) plus Housing Authority Candidate, Darlene Hayes joined us for the 2nd half.
