Video: 2019-2020 Hopkinton Public Schools Bus Application Period is Open

The Hopkinton School Bus Application Period for 2019-2020 is now open.

Students in Grades 7-12 in the 2019-2020 school year, who wish to ride the school bus, pay a fee for busing.

For full information on School Busing for next school year, please visit the Hopkinton Public Schools Website, Transportation Homepage.

The deadline for fee based busing is May 1, 2019.

Michael Palmer Running Boston for Flutie Foundation

Didn’t know if the following might be something for the paper; but I thought I’d write a note about an incredible young man from Hopkinton to share with you. He is truly an inspiration and he’s running the Boston Marathon this year. His name is Michael Palmer.

He grew up in Hopkinton and graduated from Hopkinton High School in 2012. He played little league, wrote his bike around town and did many typical things a kid would do.

The annual Special Olympics vs Hopkinton Police Basketball game took place this past Saturday at Hopkinton Middle School. Despite lots of practice by the Police Department, the talented Special Olympics team put up triple digits and took the game 100 to 50 to stay undefeated. Below, get a glimpse of the fun-filled afternoon for all at Brown Gymnasium.

MICCA Concert and Choral Festivals 2019

The Hopkinton Public Schools Music Department will once again be hosting and taking part in the 2019 Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Festivals the weekend of April 5th, 6th and 7th. Performing groups from Hopkinton High School and the Eighth Grade groups, plus the Honors Chorus from the Hopkinton Middle School will be participating.

HHS Jazz Ensemble to Perform this Saturday

This Saturday, March 23rd, the Hopkinton High School Jazz Ensemble performs at the Massachusetts Jazz Educators Association (MAJE) State Finals. The performance takes place at 1:30 p.m. at Norwood High School (245 Nichols St., Norwood) . Please come join us and support this outstanding group! You can stay and listen to other outstanding high school jazz ensembles with the price of your admission.
