The Center School Re-use Advisory Committee hosted their 1st public forum on Wednesday (6/13) at the HCAM studios. During the forum, potential uses for the Center School building were discussed.

The Center School Re-use Advisory team includes: Claire Wright, Frank D'Urso, Michael Auen, John Pavlov, Rob Dobinski, Amy Ritterbusch, Jennifer Devlin, Darlene Hayes, Laura Barry, Ken Weismantel (Vice-Chair) and RIchard Flannery (Chair).

Enter Stage Left Theater Presents Summer Musical Workshop

This entirely original, two-week musical theater workshop includes songs and scenes from Disney, Broadway and popular movie musicals, including Frozen, Aladdin, Annie, Wizard of Oz, Shrek, and more!

Over the course of the workshop, actors will learn and develop skills that will be put to use during two full performances on the final day.

In addition to plenty of instruction on the songs and scenes that will be presented during the final show, tuition includes a t-shirt and DVD of the performance.

Free Pasta Dinner at St. Paul’s June 27

The May Community Pasta Supper at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 61 Wood Street (Rte. 135) will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27. All are welcome to this event, which is being supported by the churches of the Hopkinton Christian Service Connection. This pasta supper is held for the community on the last Wednesday of every month.
The meal will feature pasta (gluten free available), vegetarian tomato sauce, meatballs on the side, green salad, bread, beverages, and dessert.
The pasta supper is free, although donations will be accepted.

Center School Reuse Advisory Team Public Forum

The Center School Reuse Advisory Team (CSRAT) will host a Public Forum on Wednesday, June 13th at 7:00 PM.

The Forum is located at HCAM Studios at 77 Main Street. It will also air on HCAM-TV, LIVE at 7:00 PM.

The forum will include short presentations for local organizations with needs that Center School could address and the progress towards the future use of Center School and questions from the public.

Presenters Include: Upper Charles Trail Committee, Youth and Family Services, Parks and Recreation, Youth Commission, Public Schools, and Town Clerk

Video: Hopkinton Senior Center Presents "Our Time Memory Cafe"

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 1-3pm, the Hopkinton Senior Center in partnership with the Hopkinton Public Library will be hosting "Our Time Memory Cafe" at the Hopkinton Public Library. Upcoming events include June 12th, July 10th, August 14th and September 11th. "Our Time Memory Cafe is a welcoming gathering for those experiencing forgetfulness, mild cognitive impairment, or living with dementia and their care partner, family, and friends. The monthly events are free, offering conversation and refreshments in a relaxing atmosphere.
