Massachusetts Building Trades Council votes unanimously to call for a statewide suspension of all regular activity at construction sites in Massachusetts

MALDEN, MA – Today, the Executive Board of the 75,000 member Massachusetts Building Trades Council voted unanimously to call on Massachusetts Governor Charles Baker to declare a statewide suspension of all regular activity at construction sites in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts beginning Friday April 3rd and continuing through April 30th.

All town buildings are closed to the public; although we are “open” for business. Parks, Playgrounds and Playing Fields are closed.

Hopkinton has created a new Covid-19 Community Impact Dashboard to illustrate closings and general tracking numbers which include the ability to see trendlines over time. Link to dashboard: https://arcg.is/PyP0S

Middlesex Sheriff’s Office COVID-19 Response – Update #11

BILLERICA, Mass. – The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office today received the results of a COVID-19 test performed on a sentenced inmate whose roommate tested positive on Friday. Though the second individual was not displaying any symptoms, he was placed in medical isolation in the Health Services Unit (HSU) and tested as a precaution at the recommendation of an external infectious disease specialist. Results returned today indicated the individual was also positive.
