The Town of Hopkinton seeks residents who are interested in serving on the Capital Improvement Committee.
The Capital Improvement Committee operates under a by-law adopted by Town Meeting in 1995. Its purpose is to deliberate and make recommendations on capital expenditure projections of the Town for fiveyear, ten-year, and longer periods.

The School Committee held a special meeting Monday night, topics included the budget and voting for the next Hopkinton School Superintendent to take over for the retiring Dr. Cathy MacLeod. BELMONT, Mass. – Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian announced today that his office will be hosting two upcoming sessions of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office (MSO) Special Citizens Academy in early 2018.
The Special Citizens Academy is a free, four-week program for local residents with developmental disabilities. The program is designed for residents ages 18, and above, who have an interest in public safety and learning more about the MSO.
Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian announced Friday that the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office will host three nights of a women’s basic self-defense course beginning January 8. The class is free and open to any woman age 16 or over who is living or working in Middlesex County.

BRISTOL, R.I., December 8, 2017- The Justice System Training and Research Institute at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., in partnership with the New England Association of Chiefs of Police, recently recognized Sergeant Aaron C. O'Neil of the Hopkinton, MA Police Department for the successful completion of the “Command Training Series: First Line Supervisor Course,” a two-week comprehensive training program for police supervisory personnel.
LOWELL, Mass. – Thirty-four new corrections officers joined the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office when they graduated from its 41st Basic Training Academy in a ceremony held Friday, December 8, at Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Over 250 family members and friends gathered for the ceremony.
