Construction of Hopkinton Public Library Almost Complete: Help Write the Final Chapter!

It’s almost here! Just a few short months away this Fall, the doors will open to the newly renovated and expanded Hopkinton Public Library at 13 Main Street. The new walls of the addition are being painted, furniture has been selected, signage is being designed, and plans are in the works to move the Library back to its historic downtown location. This $11.7 million project is the culmination of years of planning and support from Town leaders and residents.

Sheriff Koutoujian honors staff during Annual Employee Recognition & Award Ceremony

CHELMSFORD, Mass. – Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian recognized members of the Middlesex
Sheriff’s Office for sustained excellence and outstanding acts during the 2017 Employee Recognition &
Award Ceremony on Wednesday, May 10.

The ceremony is held annually during National Correctional Officers and Employees Week. As he did last
year, Governor Charlie Baker also proclaimed May 7-13 as Correction Officer Employee Week in the
Commonwealth.

The budget recommends targeted investments in a variety of areas to sustain and advance our shared prosperity and future growth, directing resources to programs and services essential for children, families and communities.

Sealed bids for the operation and maintenance of a Membrane Bioreactor

Sealed bids for the operation and maintenance of a Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Wastewater Treatment Facility will be received by the Department of Public Works, for the Town of Hopkinton, MA, at the Department of Public Works, 66 Fruit Street, Hopkinton, Massachusetts, until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 7, 2017 (according to Verizon time), and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid tour will be conducted at the Facility on May 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
