Golden Pond Launches New Website

Assisted Living at Golden Pond, an independent lifestyle and assisted living community, today announced the launch of its redesigned website, which supports navigation through smartphone and tablet devices, as well as provides enhanced resources to caregivers, seniors and professionals.

The new website comes online in advance of the grand opening of Golden Pond’s expanded facility, scheduled for October, which will offer additional apartments and new services for residents. Golden Pond is located at 50 West Main Street in Hopkinton.

West Nile Virus Found in Nearby Holliston

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced Wednesday that West Nile virus (WNV) was detected in a mosquito collected in Holliston. According to a press release from Ann McCobb, Holliston’s Health Director, crews from the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project (CMMCP) sprayed on Wednesday and are planning continued mosquito control efforts.

West nile virus (WNV) is transmitted to humans by the bite of an infected mosquito, but by taking precautions, people can help to protect themselves.

Westborough Family Physician Transferring to Hopkinton Practice

Tri-County Medical Associates is pleased to announce and welcome Family Medicine Physician, Benjamin Lieberman, MD. For the last 12 years, Dr. Lieberman practiced at Westborough Family Medicine. Beginning mid-August, Dr. Lieberman will join Hopkinton Family Practice along with Dr. Cindy Handler. New patients and families are also being welcomed at this time. Hopkinton Farmer's Market Opens on Town Common on June 16

Hoping to give the residents of Hopkinton and surrounding towns on opportunity to gather and buy locally grown produce in a convenient location, the new Hopkinton Farmer’s Market will open on the Town Common on Sunday June 16th.

Relay for Life Fundraiser at Bill's Pizza May 7

The Pink Warriors Relay for Life Team is holding fundraiser on Tuesday, May 7 from 5-8PM at Bill's Pizza. Ten percent (10%) of sales will be donated by Bill's PIzza to Relay for Life, but make sure you let them know that you are there for the fundraiser. To date, the team has raised a total of $715 and is working towards their goal of $3,000.
