On Wednesday, January 5, 2022, James (Jay) Hagberg, loving brother and father, passed away unexpectedly in the hospital at the age of 59. Jay was born on March 16,1962 in Malden, MA. He was a 1980 graduate of Hopkinton High School and worked thereafter in the family business alongside his father and brother.

James (Jim) Bernard Corsi, age 60, of Bellingham, MA, died peacefully from cancer at home surrounded by his loved ones on January, 4th 2022. Born in Newton, MA, September 9th, 1961. Son of Bernard (deceased) and Dorothy Corsi of Ashland. He was the beloved father to Julianne and her husband Doug Garabedian, Mitch, Jenna and Joey Corsi. Devoted brother of Michael Corsi, John Corsi, Cynthia Athy and husband Paul, and Natalie Doyle and husband Peter. Fun-loving uncle to Ali, Max, Maddie, Nick, Molly, Abby, Sam, PJ, Colleen, Sabrina, Jack, and Zack.

France-Anne Tardino, 80

France-Anne Tardino, 80, of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Born on August 21, 1941, in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Clara (Ziliotto) and Victor Tardino, Sr. France-Anne is survived by two daughters, Vicki Staebler Tardino (Doug Antholz) of Hopkinton, MA and Caryn Staebler (fiancé, Dan Tegel) of Wildwood, MO and two step-sons, Lee Staebler, Jr. (partner, Josephine Esposito), and Lawrence Staebler (Nancy). She also leaves behind her siblings: Victor J. Tardino Jr.

Brian Terry Timlege, 57

Brian Terry Timlege, 57, formerly of Webster and Hopkinton, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, January 2, 2021.

Born in Framingham on July 3, 1964, he was the beloved son of Irene (Terry) Timlege of Hopkinton, and the late Edward C. Timlege who passed away in January of 2020. During his youth, he attended Hopkinton public schools and was active in local sports including baseball and football. He cherished the close friendships he formed at a young age. Many of his hometown friends remain like brothers to him.

Frederick Leo Murphy Jr., 77

HOPKINTON - Frederick Leo Murphy Jr., a longtime resident of Hopkinton, passed away January 1, 2022 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He was 77 years old and the devoted husband of 56 years to Judith (Hamilton) Murphy. Born in Natick on February 25, 1944, he was the son of the late Frederick and Katherine (Moran) Murphy. He moved to Hopkinton at the age of five.

Viola I. MacKenzie, 92, of Hopkinton, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2021. Born on December 4, 1929 in Lowell, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late John and Goldie (Sheltra) Verge. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. MacKenzie Jr.

John Irwin Riedle, 92, of Hopkinton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westborough. Born in Hopkinton, he was the son of the late Jane (Robson) and Oscar Riedle. He was the husband of 68 years to the late Arlene (Kempton) Riedle.

Catherine Ann (Kitty) O'Connell, 96

Catherine Ann (Kitty) O'Connell, 96, formerly of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, was taken by the hand of Jesus to greet her family in heaven on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She passed away peacefully after a faith-filled life of humility and kindness to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. She was raised and lived in Hopkinton for her first 39 years in the company of many family members and friends. She married William F. (Bill) O'Connell in 1948 at St. John the Evangelist Church, and they were happily married for 54 years until Bill‘s passing in 2002.
