High School Collecting Toys This Week For Children's Hospital

By contributor,

The High School community is collecting new toys for Children's Hospital on behalf of a family of a current student who is gravely ill there. In lieu of anything, the family has requested that new toys and blankets be donated to the many children that Children's Hospital supports every year. Toys can be dropped off at the High School lobby up until Friday.

By contributor,

As you may know, the Hopkinton High School Athletics Booster Club is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which raises funds to help support all athletic teams with a range of items that may not be covered in the budget. To this end, we raise money through donations, school store and concession sales, March fundraiser as well as the annual Turkey Bowl alumni football game.

Schools Strategic Plan Survey Extended

By contributor,

The Hopkinton School Committee is in the process of gathering community input to be used as the foundation for the development of the next five-year Strategic Plan to guide the work of the district. In addition to a series of public focus groups conducted in November, the School Committee is conducting a community wide survey. The survey opened on December 5, 2013 and has been extended to December 15, 2013.

Weather Forecast Forces Cancellation

By contributor,

This message is to inform you that due to the forecast for tomorrow, we are postponing the Hopkinton Middle School 2.62 Desire To Inspire Kickoff Run/Walk. A new date and time will be scheduled for the Spring with the hope that Mother Nature will cooperate.

We are excited about this program’s new curriculum and the special events that will accompany it. We will notify you when a new date is established, and look forward to this new event.
Sincerely,

Debra A Pinto
and
The 26.2 Desire To Inspire Advisory Board
