Girls Volleyball

-Hopkinton Hillers defeat Barnstable 3 to 2 on the road!
Scores(25-8, 16-25, 25-15, 23-25, 16-14)

Senior OH Melanie Gildea had 23 kills!, 3 aces, 10 digs; senior setter Cathryn Leighton had 41 assists!, 2 kills, 1 block and 6 digs; senior libero Sam Berenson had 26 digs, 1 ace and strong serve receive passing; senior middle blocker Kate Powers added 8 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace.

Hopkinton is 4-0 overall, 3-0 in TVL , and plays Ashland Friday at home.

Hopkinton Hillers Girls Soccer has been on a role in their last 2 games defeating Norwood on Friday, September 10th and Holliston on Monday, September 13th. View the latest highlights below.

9/10/21 -Hopkinton Girls Soccer defeats Norwood Mustangs 3-0 at home!
Sophomore, Georgina Clarke netted a pair of Goals. Lexy Trendel also struck for a goal in the shutout win. Ava Perlov and Brooke Birtwistle had assists in the win.

-Hopkinton Hillers Boys Soccer Ties 2-2 with Holliston in a road game.
Hopkinton and Holliston each captured a standings point with a draw. Owen Schnur & Pierce Farrell netted goals assisted by Sean Golbiewski & Sam Vasington. Both teams are now 2-0-1 on the season.

-Hopkinton Girls Soccer defeats Holliston Panthers 4-2 at home!
Sophomore, Georgina Clarke netted 3 goals, Nina Tzouganatos also netted a goal assisted by Georgia Clarke. Hillers improve to 2-1-0 on the season, Holliston falls to 1-1-1.

The Hopkinton Hillers got wins in the Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball season openers, Girls Soccer fell short in their opener and Golf hung on for a win versus Norwood!

Boys Soccer
-Hopkinton Starts off the season with a 2-0 win at home over Medfield.
Big afternoon for the 3 captains! Tora Ito records a Goal and Assist, Owen Schnur with an Assist and Andrew Gaughan with a goal. Keeper, Max Nye makes several big saves in the shutout win. Hopkinton (1-0-0) Medfield (0-1-0).

2020 was an odd year for most things and High School football in the state of Massachusetts was certainly very different for all including the Hopkinton Hillers. Last years High School Football season was a shortened season that featured no playoff games and an all Divisional schedule and it took place in March and April. Hopkinton finished last season with 2 wins and 3 losses but our looking forward to what will hopefully be a normal season starting in September.
