Why Wake up and Smell the Poetry at HCAM Studio?
"You can be sure I'll come back - it's great to hear the variety, and feel a part of such a vibrant community.
--- Rick Drost, singer-songwriter
"Thank you again for YOU and for inviting me to be on "Wake Up and Smell the Poetry" ... the experience for me was better than I could ever have imagined and I shall forever hold the light of you and others I met inside my heart."
---Susan Deer Cloud, poet
"Thank you for a fantastic opening to another season of Wake up and Smell the Poetry. Every new edition makes me think it might have been the best one. Though it's not a competition of course. "
--Michael Sullivan Hopkinton High School psychology teacher/ author and open mic contributor
Wake Up and Smell the Poetry is a place where people of creative and open minds gather to not only share, but listen and be inspired by the wonderful fusion of poetry, story and song that takes place within community each third Saturday morning of months September-June.
Here are photos taken to share some of the highlights from last Saturdays's program thanks to the photographic talent of Dan Tappan.http://www.flickr.com/photos/dan_tappan/sets/72157636795956566/
