Hillers Sports Preview, First Day of School Festivities and more.. On September 2nd HCAM News!

On the September 2nd edition of HCAM News, we have updates from this fall’s Hillers Girls Soccer and the Hillers Football team, we caught up with Hopkinton High School Athletic Director, Rich Cormier, we’ll let you know about some happenings in town and we'll show some photos submitted of 1st day of school festivities but first, School is back in session and so is hcam’s Hopkinton Hangout Hour.

HCAM News airs every Thursday on HCAM-TV at 6:30pm until 7pm to keep you up to date with all that is happening in Hopkinton.

Lois Roberta (Melvin) Frost, 81

Lois Roberta (Melvin) Frost, 81, of East Sandwich, MA passed away on August 21, 2021 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, MA with her loving children by her side. She was married to the late Stanley Frederick Frost. She was born to the late Curtis & Grace Melvin (McDormande) in Hopkinton, MA on July 18, 1940.

Edwina M. Kirby, 93

Edwina M. Kirby, 93, of Bellingham, MA passed away at her home on Tuesday August 31, 2021 after a short illness. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edmund L and Dorothy (Schmutz) Mullin of Hopkinton.

Hillers Girls soccer finished the shortened 2020-2021 season with a very good record of 6 wins, 2 losses and 2 ties. This year they are hoping that they will be able to have a normal season and are getting ready to kick things off next week. This years 4 captains (Ava Perlov, Gabi Ciri, Riley Krattenmaker and Ashley Butler) bring some great experience to the table. The team will be led by 3rd year Head Coach, Tom Skiba.
