Sheriff Koutoujian announces applications for 2018 Youth Public Safety Academy

CHELMSFORD, Mass. – Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian has announced applications are now available for youngsters wishing to participate in the 2018 Youth Public Safety Academy (YPSA).

In its 19th year, YPSA is a safe and educational, low-cost summer camp option for Middlesex County families. The camp is open to children ages 8-12 and is held at the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Training Academy in Chelmsford.

FY 19 Budget Requests (Discussion/Action) The Board of Selectmen will continue reviewing FY 19 budget requests, including FY 19-22 financial projections and maintaining tax impact at 5% or less. The Board has invited the School Committee and Appropriations Committee to participate.

All of todays MIAA Tournament Games Have Been Postponed Due to the Weather.

Hillers Girls Basketball is now scheduled to host Medfield Saturday Night (Tomorrow) at 6pm

Hillers Boys Hockey VS Dover-Sherborn will now take place Saturday March 3rd 4:30pm at Pirelli Veterans Arena in Franklin, MA.

Assistant Superintendent Search: Three Finalists Selected Parents, Staff, and Community Invited to Public Forum

Three finalists for the position of Hopkinton Public Schools’ Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment, and Professional Development have been selected.

Mr. Michael Caira: Mr. Caira holds a Masters in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University. His undergraduate degree was in English, with a concentration in Elementary Education, awarded from Assumption College. His Doctorate of Education from the Boston College Lynch School of Education is expected to be awarded this May.

Hopkinton High School Jazz Ensemble Awarded GOLD!

Congratulations to the HHS Jazz Ensemble and Mr. Jeremy Dodge on their first-ever gold medal at the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education (MAJE) Central District I Senior Jazz Festival held February 28th at Nipmuc Regional High School, Upton, MA. All of their hard work practicing and rehearsing before and after school paid off. The students will now perform on Sunday, March 18th in the MAJE State Finals held at Norwood High School.
