Video Highlights: Hillers Volleyball takes on Notre Dame in D2 State Championship Game

The Hillers Volleyball team had an unforgettable run this fall. The team finished 22 and 2 overall and captured their 2nd state title in the past 3 seasons. During the playoffs, the Hillers took down Medway, last years Central Sectional winner, Westboro, Canton to capture the Central Sectional Championship and an undefeated Amherst team in the state semi-finals. The Hillers dethroned last years state champion Notre Dame Academy in the Division 2 State Title match. View highlights of the title game including player interviews and much more below.

The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball team defeated Notre Dame Academy in the 3-0 sweep to capture the 2016 Division 2 State Championship. The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball team advanced to their 2nd state championship game in the past 3 seasons. The team took home the title in 2014 and look to do it again this year. The Hillers beat Canton in the Central sectionals followed by undefeated Amherst in the State Semi-Finals. View Highlights Below.

The American Legion Post 202 Adjutant, Michael Whalen hosted the annual Hopkinton Veterans Day Ceremony at the Senior Center. Speakers included: Student, Camden Crum, Hopkinton Resident, Mary Harrington, Hopkinton Selectman, Brendan Tedstone and Rev. Richard Cannon of St. John the Evangelist Parish. View Ceremony below. Hopkinton Drug Hosts Their 28th Annual Holiday Open House

Celebrate the Holiday Season with all of us at Hopkinton Drug on the weekend of December 3rd and 4th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM for our 28th Annual Holiday Open House.

Bring the whole family along and enjoy everything from refreshments, door prizes, raffles to benefit Project Just Because, music, and caricatures to children's crafts, face painting, and pictures with Santa! (Please make sure to bring your own camera.)

Other highlights include sampling natural products and the opportunity to meet with representatives from some top supplement companies.

Hillers Volleyball Advances to D2 State Finals

The Hopkinton Hillers handed Amherst their first loss of the season in the Division 2 State Semi-Finals Wednesday Night (11/16). Hopkinton improved to 21-2 on the season while the Amherst Hurricanes fell to 23-1. Hopkinton defeated Medway (3-0), Westboro (3-1) and Canton (3-0) in the Central sectionals to advance to take on West Champion, Amherst in the State Semi's. Amherst went into the semi-finals matchup having won every single set except two all season.

HPLF's 4th Hoptoberfest Raises $30,000

On Friday, October 28, over 300 “Hoptoberfest” partygoers filled St. John’s Parish Hall, raising over $30,000 for the Library renovation and expansion project set to open its doors in the Summer of 2017. Hopkinton Public Library Foundation’s Fourth Annual Hoptoberfest, a fun night out to celebrate the fall and enjoy all things local, helped Library fundraising top $800,000.

Shop Local! Primarily Potters Collective Exhibit and Sale at HCA

The public is invited to the Primarily Potters Collective Exhibit and Sale, running Nov. 18 through Nov. 20, at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (98 Hayden Rowe St.). This annual exhibit is free to the public and guests can purchase handcrafted gifts and ceramic wares from the artists for themselves or as unique gifts for friends and family. The Primarily Potters collective is comprised of artists who have been exhibiting their work together for more than 10 years. A Meet the Artists public reception will be held Friday, Nov. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m.
