Cornerstone at Milford, Milford's newest assisted living community held its long awaited Grand Opening on June 12. The new senior community, managed by Massachusetts-based Senior Living Residences, saw more than 150 guests including residents and their families, several local community leaders, local eldercare professionals and members of the team that built the community.

HOPKINTON – Sunday, June 15th marks the opening of this summer’s Hopkinton Farmers Market. The market will be open every Sunday from June 15th through October 19th from 1-5pm on the Town Common, giving residents of Hopkinton and surrounding towns a welcome green space to gather, visit with friends and buy their locally grown food for the week.
HOPKINTON- Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton, Massachusetts welcomes Amanda Clark as their new Garden Center Manager. She will oversee the day to day operations of the Garden Center.
Amanda has two decades of experience in retail management and has managed several Garden Centers in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. She is a graduate of MN Riverland Technical College located in Rochester, Minnesota and has several accreditations including Minnesota Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional and Master Gardener.

On day 1 of the Annual Town Meeting, the last topic of the night was Article 15: Library Construction. Numerous people expressed their opinions on the project for just over an hour until a verdict was finally reached.
The Planning Board continued a public hearing for a Major Project Site Plan Review at 42 Main Street and 5 and 7 Walcott Street in order to allow the Board time to view a current set of plans for the site. Greg Mazur, Steve Lewis and George Marquedant were present to speak at the meeting.
ValuePenguin.com reviewed auto insurance rates across Massachusetts and determined that Hopkinton has the 13th lowest cost in the state. They analyzed rates for several different driver profiles from 35 insurers and 179 cities to determine the cheapest and most expensive cities.
Based on the survey, ValuePenguin determined the average cost of car insurance in the Bay State is $1,347, annual premiums ranged from $1,015 at the low end to $2,350 at the high end (a variance of 132%). The survey took into account cities and towns with over 10,000 people.
