Community Notice: Trash Pickup for Friday, July 8th 2022

This message is intended to reach as many impacted residents as possible.

As a result of the construction activities on Main Street - EL Harvey will be picking up trash only (not recycling) on Friday, July 8th, at an earlier time then normal (as early as 5:30 or 6am) for the following roads;

Main Street (Ash Street to Whalen Road)
Claflin Place
Meserve Street
Commonwealth Avenue
Claflin Avenue
Mt. Auburn Street
Mayhew street
Marshall Avenue
Summer Street

Road Work Notice for Hayden Rowe

Hopkinton, MA (July 7, 2022)- Road work will begin on Friday, July 8th, 2022 on Hayden Rowe from just south of the intersection of Hayden Rowe and Chestnut Street to the Hopkinton/Milford town line. This work is to repave the section of road disturbed during the Hayden Rowe Water Main Replacement and provide a smooth roadway surface. PJ Hayes Inc. Excavating and their subcontractors will perform this work.

Weather Trends in Hopkinton: June 27th through July 3rd

According to the DPW weather station, the highest temperature reached in Hopkinton June 27th through July 3rd was 89.8 degrees, the lowest was 51.3 degrees. Average temperature during the week in Hopkinton was 71 degrees. Humidity was at an average of 73%, the peak was 98% while the lowest was 29%. Rain accumulated 0.89 inches last week.
