2015 Boston Marathon Results

Carole Rotich of Kenya wins The Boston Marathon on women's side with time of 2.24.55, 2013 champion Lelisa Desisa of Ethopia wins on Men's side with time of 2.09.17. Last years Men's winner Meb Keflezighi finished 8th at a time of 2.12.42. The leading American was Dathan Rizenhien who finished 7th at a time of 2.11.20.

Men's Wheelchair Division:

1st: Marcel Hug (Switzerland) 1:29:53

2nd: Masazumi Soejima (Japan) 1:36:27

3rd: Ernst Van Dyk (South Africa) 1:36:27

4th: Kota Hotinoue (Japan) 1:36:29

Man Drowns in Whitehall

On Saturday April 18, 2015, at approximately 11:36 pm, Hopkinton Police received a 911 call reporting suspicious activity at their residence. A second 911 call was received immediately after the initial call, reporting three people were in a canoe on Lake Whitehall and the canoe had overturned spilling all three people into Lake Whitehall.

Currently on display at the Hopkinton Center for the arts is the artwork of 11 student artists from Hopkinton High School who were chosen by instructors and peers to have their work displayed as part of the Hopkinton High School Honors art exhibit

Save the date, Saturday, May 2, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at the High School Cafeteria. Hop Swap is an amazing community tag sale whose proceeds go to the HPTA and Hop Mom's Group. Fill a bag for $15, or for $10 if you donate items to the event.

We are looking for donations that are in good, clean condition. Donations may include: Children's clothing size newborn to 14, kids sporting equipment, maternity clothes, toys, bikes, DVD's, costumes, kids shoes and other gently used children's items.
