Mission Retreats at Fatima Shrine

The Xaverian Missionaries at Fatima Shrine in Holliston are offering day retreats each month. These retreats will take place at the Shrine on the Second Sunday of each Month (except May) giving those who come an opportunity to celebrate the many ways that Mission can be expressed and lived. Come to share the many Mission Stories of Faith and Service.

The next retreat will be Sunday May 3, beginning at the 11:00 AM Mass.

Fatima Day at the Shrine in Holliston

On Wednesday, May 13, the Xaverian Missionaries will hold the traditional Fatima Day celebration. It is going to be our first Fatima Day of 2015. There is a sing-along at 6:30 PM with Mass at 7:00 PM. At 8:00 PM, there will be a rosary and candlelight procession followed by refreshments served in the Shrine’s Hall. The main celebrant and homilist will be Fr. Tony Lalli, sx. Fr. Tony served for many years in Brazil: the Amazon region in the North as well as in the City of San Paolo in the South.

2015 Boston Marathon Results

Carole Rotich of Kenya wins The Boston Marathon on women's side with time of 2.24.55, 2013 champion Lelisa Desisa of Ethopia wins on Men's side with time of 2.09.17. Last years Men's winner Meb Keflezighi finished 8th at a time of 2.12.42. The leading American was Dathan Rizenhien who finished 7th at a time of 2.11.20.

Man Drowns in Whitehall

On Saturday April 18, 2015, at approximately 11:36 pm, Hopkinton Police received a 911 call reporting suspicious activity at their residence. A second 911 call was received immediately after the initial call, reporting three people were in a canoe on Lake Whitehall and the canoe had overturned spilling all three people into Lake Whitehall.
