Video: Eric Carty Gives Update on Water Tanks

Water & Sewer Director, Eric Carty gave an update about the new Water Tank that is in the process of being installed on Hayden Rowe. The tank was nearly completely installed last week, some more work needs to be done to make the tank functional and tie it in to the water supply. The project is estimated to be finished sometime in November 2017. View more in the news segment below.

Video: Downtown Corridor Project Public Forum

A public forum was held at the Hopkinton Senior Center to discuss the Downtown Corridor Project. Town Manager, Norman Khumalo shared some of the background of the project which has been discussed for nearly 20 years. John Bechard of VHB presented the proposed $8,000,000 plan. Library Grand Opening October 16!

The Hopkinton Public Library Trustees and staff are excited to announce the library's Grand Opening at 13 Main Street! Please join us at 11 am on Monday, October 16 for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

After the ribbon cutting, Library Trustees will lead tours of the building from 11:30 am-2 pm and from 5-7 pm.

Refreshments will be available, courtesy of Snappy Dogs and the Library Trustees.

The Children's and Young Adult librarians will offer fun drop-in activities to welcome kids and teens to the library.

Sheriff Koutoujian welcomes Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb to tour the Housing Unit for Military Veterans

BILLERICA, Mass. – Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian recently welcomed Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb to the Middlesex Jail & House of Correction.

Sheriff Lamb visited the facility on Wednesday, September 27 to tour the Housing Unit for Military Veterans (HUMV). Opened in January 2016, HUMV is the only specialized unit for incarcerated military Veterans in Massachusetts.

The Hopkinton Board of Selectmen publicly recognized the work of the volunteers in the Charter Review Committee at last night's meeting. The Committee includes: Richard Flannery, Michelle Murdock, Curt Cooprider, Elizabeth Herlihy, Jean Bertschmann, Todd Cestari and Chairman, Pam Waxlax.
