Video Segment: Hopkinton Volleyball Advances to the Division 2 State Championship

The #8th ranked Hopkinton Hillers took on the #1 Ranked Notre Dame of Hingham Cougars at Canton High School in the State Semi-Finals. Hopkinton pulled off the sweep winning Game 1 (25-22), Game 2 (25-8), Game 3 (25-23).

Elise Chandler - Girls Lacrosse signing with the University of New Hampshire of the America East Conference. Elise is a Tri-Valley League Honorable Mention Lacrosse All-Star.

Jimmy Hervol - Golf - signing with the University of Connecticut of the American Athletic Conference. Jimmy was a selected as a Metrowest Daily News Golf Super Team All-Star, 2 Time Tri Valley League MVP, and 3 time TVL 1st Team All-Star, and 3 time Hopkinton Team MVP.

Hiller Cheer Racking Up Wins

Another season has begun and the Hopkinton High Cheerleaders (HHC) have, as in the past, started out strong. On October 25th the HHC went to the Panther Invitational in Marlboro MA. Where they came in first place in division two. They were proud and happy to have strong start to the season, but there was a special twist to the particular competition. Head Marlboro coach, Adrienne DeGeorge, and The Varsity Marlboro Cheer team have “adopted” a young man, Dylan, who is battling brain cancer. Adrienne sent out a challenge to all 20 teams competing.

Hopkinton @ Milford Round 1 H.S. Football Playoff Preview

On Halloween (Friday October 31st) the #5th seeded (3-4) Hopkinton Hillers will head down the road to Milford and take on the #4th seeded (4-3) Scarlet Hawks for a quarter-finals playoff matchup. It will be a matchup of two schools which many of the players grew up playing organized football against or with each other. The Hillers and Scarlet Hawks have not played each other in recent years however both teams bring a very similar style of play.

Hiller Boys XC Win TVL Title

The Hiller Boys Cross Country Team took the Tri-Valley League Championship at Medfield on Tuesday. They placed first followed by Medfield and Norton. Evan Park came in 4th overall, Brian Gao 7th, Jack Cote 15, Sam Danaceau 16, Matt Pettepit 19, Jack McGuire 21st and Matt Heim 28th. "In the JV race, we had 6 out of the top 10 runners, too'" said Coach Jen Fairbanks, "It was a great day." It is the Hillers 3rd time in 4 years winning TVLs. This year the competition was different.
