For the 3rd season HCAM TV in Hopkinton and WACA TV in Ashland will air taped broadcasts of Ashland Legion Baseball Post 77 home games! All home games will be played at Ashland Middle School. HCAM's Tom Nappi will provide play by play of the games while WACA TV will work the camera.
HCAM-ED airs on Comcast channel 96 and on Verizon channel 31. HCAM-TV is Hopkinton's Public and Governmental channel airing on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 30.
On Thursday June 9, 2016 the Hopkinton Police responded to a report of a swastika and the word “Jew” painted on a traffic safety sign on North Mill Street. Officers responded and observed the 2 two signs occupying the same post to be spray painted in orange paint.
6/10/16 - The #7th seeded King Philip Warriors out of the Hockomock League took down the #6th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Softball team 4-0 in the South D1 Semi-Finals at Taunton High School. King Philip Senior, Kali Magane pitched the complete game shutout and struck out 9 Hillers while only giving up 4 hits.
This year Memorial Day festivities took place in-front of a packed house at St. Johns Parish due to rain. Lieutenant, Michael Foley was the keynote speaker. Other speakers included: Representative Carolyn Dykema, Selectman Co-Chair, John Coutinho, Mia Coutinho, Kevin Nathan, Michael Whalen, Father Cannon. Fall sports sign ups are now open. Please visit the high school athletic home page and scroll down to the Family ID button and register your son or daughter for Fall sports. Please note you can upload his/her current physical right onto the Family ID site if you need to update it for the Fall. Physicals are good for 13 months.

Blackstone Valley Wealth Management LLC. announced the recipient of their annual Hopkinton High School Scholarship. The scholarship is rewarded to a Hopkinton High School graduating senior who is pursuing a higher education and is a child in a single-parent home. This years recipient was Andrew Simi. Simi will be attending Umass-Amherst next year studying Operation and Information Management.
