Hopkinton Police Seek Assistance in Preventing Crime
The Hopkinton Police Department is asking community members to take an active role in helping us prevent crime. Unfortunately, our community has been targeted by organized thieves who target vehicles in parking lots. Aside from these thieves most of the property stolen in town is the result of crimes of opportunity involving unlocked cars and homes. We are asking everyone to partner with us to prevent property crimes.

The Harlem Wizards are Back!
The Harlem Wizards are back at Hopkinton High School on Sunday, April 10 to play against the Hopkinton Public Schools staff! Doors open at 1:00 PM and the game is at 2:00 PM. Tickets bought in advance here are $12 for students and $15 for general admission, tickets at the door are $15 for students and $18 for general admission, and courtside plus tickets are $30.

Board of Selectmen name Stephen Slaman as Permanent Fire Chief
Tonight the Board of Selectmen reviewed Fire Chief Stephen Slaman and decided to officially appoint Slaman as permanent Fire Chief. After narrowing down the list of candidates to replace Chief Ken Clark who retired at the end of 2015 to 2 candidates, Selectmen were faced with a dilemma when one of the candidates, current Framingham Chief, Gary Daugherty dropped his candidacy for the position.

Hillers High School Baseball and Softball Opener Postponed
Some early April snow has cancelled practices and postponed many scheduled High School games throughout the state. The Hopkinton Hillers baseball and softball home opener and opening game of the season originally scheduled for Friday April 8th has been moved to Thursday April 28th. Both teams were scheduled to take on Dover-Sherborn. The next scheduled game for both teams is on Monday April 11th at Medfield High School. Stay tuned for possible further postponements or delay updates.
Hopkinton Center for the Arts Open House Sunday 4/10/16
Please stop by and join us for an OPEN HOUSE at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM to see the new Delbridge Family Performance Space and to learn more about our Summer programs for ages 3 to 18+. This is event is free and open to the public.
Kids can partake in a fun craft, get their face painted, and meet our Disney princesses! Adults can take in an art demonstration and learn more about upcoming performances and exhibits.
At the same time, everybody is welcome to join our Boston Marathon sign-making party!

Self-Publishing Seminar at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts
