Elmwood School Principal Search Public Forum to Meet Finalists

The finalists for the position of Elmwood Elementary School Principal will soon be selected.

An integral part of the process involves parent, staff, and community input. The Superintendent, Dr. Cathy MacLeod, invites interested parents, staff, and community members to a public forum to meet the finalists, and ask any questions they may have.

Each finalist will be available for approximately 20-30 minutes. Parents, staff, and community members are invited to attend this forum:

Lt. Governor Polito Signs Community Compact Agreement with Hopkinton

HOPKINTON – Today, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito signed a Community Compact agreement with Hopkinton Board of Selectmen Chair Benjamin Palleiko.

“We are excited to announce this new partnership between the Commonwealth and the Town of Hopkinton,” said Lieutenant Governor Polito. “We look forward to working with local officials, especially to realize their goal of promoting local agriculture and economic development.”

Francis M. “Frank” O’Toole, 79

Mr. Francis M. “Frank” O’Toole, 79, of Milford MA, died early Monday morning (January 25, 2016) at Blaire House of Milford after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (LaPorte) O’Toole.

Mr. O’Toole was born in South Boston, MA the son of the late Bartley and the late Helen (Lee) O’Toole. He was a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School in South Boston MA and also a graduate of Suffolk University.

Hopkinton Public Library Foundation to Host 4th Mother-Daughter Princess Tea

In support of the restoration, renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library, the Hopkinton Public Library Foundation, Inc. (HPLF), will hold its 4th Mother-Daughter Princess Tea on Saturday, March 12, 2016, from 1:00-3:00 pm at St. John the Evangelist Parish Center in Hopkinton. The event will include live performances by Disney®’s Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel, photo opportunities with the princesses, face painting, a sundae bar, delicious treats and light refreshments.
